I think that the class was organized such that instructions were poorly communicated to the TAs (and the students as well) which obviously creates a chain reaction when the class also just heavily relied on what your TA thinks. ECE 313 is mostly difficult because the exams are fast paced and heavily weighted, but like 374 the quantity of work is not that high. Hard to explain, but I really need to take ECE 385 this summer. This semester 342 has been going relatively well for me as I have gotten 2 As and 1 B on the 3 exams. The other classes keep but 329 is only useful for RF, 340 is only useful for cringe PD. The general consensus tends to be that ECE 391 is the most time consuming course, though. While both involve MOSFETs, 482 delves more in the layout design of the transistor itself (you actually learn where to put the gate, drain and source and contacts and shit like this) whereas 483, as you know, deals more with putting transistors together in a configuration (cascode, cascade and whatnot) to make an amplifier or whatever.
